Massive crackdown against drug sellers, bootleggers on

-14 caught within 24 hours
-Mobile phone, drugs arms recovered

ISLAMABAD: Capital Cops, during a massive crackdown against drug peddlers and bootleggers, have caught 14 during the past 24 hours, while recovering mobile phone, narcotics, weapons and liquor from their possession.
According to details, on the directives of IGP Islamabad Muhammad Amir Zulfiqar Khan, DIG Operations Waqar-ud-din Syed asked all zonal officers for renewed efforts against anti-social activities. Thus following the directives, PS Bara Kaho arrested five accused including Muhammad Farhan, Ali Sher, Adnan, Muhammad Hameed and Malik Bilal while recovering two daggers, one iron punch and two wine bottles from their possession.
PS Kohsar booked accused Aamir Hafeez and recovered 1050kg Hashish from him. PS Karachi Company caught accused Adil Hussain and recovered four stolen mobile phones from him while PS Noon nabbed some Majid Ali and recovered a 30-bore pistol from him. Similarly, PS Khanna arrested accused Zafar Khan and recovered a 30-bore pistol from his possession. PS Koral booked Azkar Hussain and recovered a 30-bore pistol from him.
Separate cases have been recovered against the accused while further investigation is underway from the accused. Moreover, during special inspection in the whole city, cops nabbed three proclaimed offenders at various police stations. DIG Operations Islamabad Waqar-ud-din Syed has promised that all social evils would be curbed and those backing drug peddlers and professional beggars would be dealt with iron hands. He further stated that the campaign would continue till elimination of all anti-social elements.
