17 booked during crackdown

ISLAMABAD: Capital Cops, in a bid to tighten noose around anti-social elements and during ongoing operation against crooks, booked 17 outlaws, while recovering narcotics, wine and weapons from their possession, here on Thursday.
According to details, following the special orders of IGP Islamabad Muhammad Aamir Zulfiqar Khan, DIG Operations Waqar-ud-Din Syed directed all zonal police officials to accelerate their efforts in curbing crime in the city.
Thus, following these directions, PS Aabpara arrested Muhammad Waleed and recovered one 30 bore pistol from him. PS Kohsar busted two accused Tariq and Javed. PS Bani Gala caught accused Waseem Masih and recovered 30 bottles wine from him. PS Shalimar nabbed accused namely Adnan and recovered one bottle wine and five gram ice from him. PS Ramna arrested 03 accused Mazher Iqbal, Jameel Waris and Ahmed Faraz and recovered 680 gram hashish and 32 bore revolver from their possession. PS Sabzi Mandi arrested accused Saad Khan and recovered 1.015 kilogram hashish from him. ps Koral police busted accused Aamir Ullah and recovered a 12 bore gun from him. PS Lohi Bher booked accused Hussain Shah and recovered one dagger from him. Separate cases have been registered against the accused while further investigation is underway. IGP Islamabad and DIG Operations have appreciated this performance while ordered to further intensify the efforts at large.
