Matuidi tests positive for coronavirus

Dubai: Blaise Matuidi, Juventus and France midfielder has tested positive for the coronavirus, Juventus confirmed the news in an official statement.
The 32-year-old underwent medical tests that have revealed his positivity to the Coronavirus-COVID-19.
β€œThe player, as of Wednesday 11 March, has been involuntary home isolation.
He will continue to be monitored and will follow the same regime. He is well and is asymptomatic,” the club said in a statement.
Matuidi took to twitter and wrote in French,” I am positive, I am strong, morale is good. We will collectively emerge stronger from this test. Thank you for your messages of friendship and support. Let us remain disciplined and united, we will do it.”
It must be noted that earlier center-back Daniele Rugani, the first Juventus player was tested positive because of coronavirus.
