Cricketers give messages on ‘Pakistan Day’

Karachi: As the whole nation is celebrating ‘Pakistan Day’, there are Pakistani men cricketers who showed their love and support to the country by giving patriotic messages to the Pakistani nation on this momentous occasion.
Test skipper Azhar Ali, former captain Shoaib Malik, all-rounder Shadab Khan, women’s team captain Bismah Maroof and her deputy Javeria Khan shared their messages and pledged fans to take all precautionary measures and beat COVID-19. “80 years back, where our ancestors were talking about the solid foundation for the country but today we have to promise to make our country safe and secure by washing our hands,” said Azhar Ali in a video released by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
“It’s been 80 years of Pakistan resolution, our ancestors promised for a homeland at that and today we have to promise to take all the necessary measures and beat coronavirus,” said Bismah. Malik wished everyone on this auspicious day and urged not to shake hands and hug each other, “Together we will beat coronavirus, Pakistan Zindabad,” he said.
