Dubai: Test fast bowler Mohammad Abbas has been promoted at number 8 in updated ICC bowling rankings.
Abbas, who took two wickets in bad weather-hit second Test against England, jumped up two spots to gain the eighth position with 785 points. The right-arm fast bowler left India’s Jasprit Bumrah and New Zealand’s Trent Boult behind him.

Abbas has so far taken five wickets in ongoing three matches Test series against England at their backyard.
The 30-years-old pacer has played 20 Tests and took 80 wickets at an average of 20.67. He also represented Pakistan in three ODIs since his Test debut in 2017 against West Indies.
