Rawalpindi: Abdullah Shafiq (63) and Mohammad Akhlaq (50*) helped Central Punjab (CP) to post 174-4 in 20 overs against Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) in National T20 Cup.
CP lost Kamran Akmal for just 3 runs after they were invited to bat first in the 26th match of the event. But, Babar Azam (39 off 33 balls) partnered with Abdullah to score 80 runs together. Babar’s inning included three boundaries and a six.
Later on, Akhlaq and Abdullah partnered for the third wicket to add 70 runs to the team’s total. Akhlaq struck four boundaries and three sixes while Abdullah smashed five boundaries and two sixes.
Imran Khan Sr and Usman Shinwari bagged two wickets each for KP.
