FAISALABAD: On the directions of Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar, Punjab Culture Day would be celebrated in full swing in the district on March 14, in this regard preparations have been started by the district administration. Additional Deputy Commissioner General Qaiser Abbas Rind presided over a meeting and assigned task to departments for celebrations of Punjab Culture Day.
The Additional Deputy Commissioner General directed the Assistant Commissioners to take steps for setting up of Food Street and Flower Exhibition besides organizing Horse and Cattle Show, formal Kabaddi Match, Concert, Punjabi Mushaira on Punjab Culture Day. He said that the culture of Faisalabad should be nurtured by celebrating this day in a traditional manner for which tasks should be carried out with enthusiasm. He said that Punjabi culture should be fully reflected in all the celebrations. The ADCG clarified that the targets given to the departments would be reviewed regularly so they should realize their responsibilities. During the meeting, the officers also made some suggestions regarding the celebrations of Punjab Culture Day.
