Islamabad: No event was organized by Allama Iqbal Open University on the occasion of the death anniversary of the famous poet of Pakistan, Allama Muhammad Iqbal.
Even the university was open on Sunday for marking. The 86th death anniversary of the poet Allama Muhammad Iqbal was celebrated on Sunday.
Asghar Ali Mubarak, president of Tutors Forum Pakistan, has said that the administration failed to remember Allama Iqbal’s poet Mashreq. He said that how we will convey the message of the great poet to the youth.
The President of Tutors Forum Pakistan said that Allama Muhammad Iqbal is the priceless person who gave a new dimension to the struggle of the Muslims of the subcontinent by presenting the vision of Pakistan.
He is also recognized as a well-known poet, philosopher and thinker in the world of Islam. Iqbal exhorted the Muslims to put aside ethnic and sectarian differences and unite with each other to break the chains of slavery.
Pakistan thinker Allama Muhammad Iqbal was born on November 9, 1877 in Sialkot, he received his primary education in Sialkot, matriculated from Mission High School and FA from Murray College Sialkot.
He said that other unnecessary events are organized every day, but no event was organized by Allama Iqbal Open University on the occasion of the anniversary. –PR
