Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu has said that the Pakistan Air Force is a professional force, and it is capable of timely and forcefully responding to enemy’s nefarious designs against the country. The Air Chief was addressing the course members and faculty of 50th Pakistan Navy Staff Course (PNWC) at Pakistan Navy War College on Thursday. He also commended Pakistan Navy’s valuable services to safeguard the maritime frontiers of the country. The Air Chief expressed his confidence in the combat potential of Pakistan armed forces. The Air Chief said that our armed forces were ever ready to defend the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the nation. Chief of the Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sindhu is a seasoned and highly professional officer of the PAF. He assumed the command of Pakistan Air Force at a time when it was at the peak of its professionalism and preparedness. PAF had recently proved its superiority over its staunch rival during a dog fight over Line of Control (LoC) in February 2019. Pakistan Navy also successfully neutralized the incursion of Indian Navy Submarine during the same time. On other hand, Pakistan Army is well trained and highly equipped fighting force which has successfully defeated the menace of terrorism during recent past. Presently, Pakistan Defence Forces are at the highest level of their preparedness, but the things do not remain the same with the passage of time and invention of new technologies. Due to this changing phenomenon, there is no victory for ever and no defeat is endless, and we must be in step with changing dynamics of the time. However, it is essential to inform our seasoned warriors that to continue this higher edge over your adversaries during future engagements, you need to double up your endeavors for that goal. Our experience during the previous two Indo-Pakistan wars of 1965 and 1971, gave us an important lesson that never underestimate your enemy and always prepare yourselves ten times more than you need to be. Currently, our enemy became aware of its weaknesses and next time he will appear with new weaponry and new war methodology therefore our armed Forces must be ready to give him another surprise like February 2019.
