Ali releases unofficial PSL Anthem

Karachi: Renowned singer and actor Ali Zafar has released his own and unofficial Pakistan Super League (PSL) season five anthem ‘Mela Loot Liya’.
Last week while interacting in ARY News popular show ‘Har Lamha Purjosh’, the rockstar decided to launch his own anthem after a heavy public demand as the fans were disappointed by the official PSL anthem ‘Tayyar Hain’ sung by rock icon Ali Azmat, folk music legend Arif Lohar, former Awaz singer Haroon Rashid, and famous pop artist Asim Azhar. The song is thematically a bhangra style music that portrays that the nation indulges in a festive mood when it comes to the game of cricket. He made the song in the span of six days.
The 38-year-old had sung the anthems of the first three PSL season. Of all the PSL songs, ‘Ab Khel Jamay Ga’ still remains on the top of all anthems.
Yesterday, Ali shared the poster and the first look of the anthem. Ali Zafar on Monday, February 24th announced on his social media accounts that he wants the public to make videos of dance steps which will be included in the music video.
It must be noted that PSL 5 is underway with thrilling encounters as 13 matches have been played until now. Multan Sultans are sitting at the top of the table comfortably with eight points in five matches.
