Alvi inquires health of wounded Soldiers at CMH

-Meets Security men who got injured during Bannu Operation
-Awards Certificates to NDU Security Course participants
RAWALPINDI: President of Pakistan, Doctor Arif Alvi inquired the wellbeing of wounded Soldiers at Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Rawalpindi on Friday, Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement.
The Military’s Media Affairs Wing said President praised Forces’ bravery and resolve to fight against terrorism while meeting with the Officers and Soldiers who got injured during an Operation to clear CTD complex Bannu.
The ISPR stated; “ President of Pakistan, Doctor Arif Alvi visited Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Rawalpindi, yesterday. He met with the officers and soldiers who got injured while clearing CTD complex Bannu. President praised their bravery and resolve to fight against terrorism.”
In another statement ISPR reported that the President awarded certificates to the participants of National Security Course 2023 held at the National Defence University here.
The workshop was attended by selected participants from the Civil Services of Pakistan, along with officers from the armed forces, it said, adding that President Alvi was the Chief Guest of the ceremony, said a press release.
“Graduation Ceremony for National Security Course 2023 held at NDU, Islamabad. President of Pakistan, Dr Arif Alvi was the Chief Guest,” the statement stated.
“National Security Course was attended by selected participants from Civil Services of Pakistan, along with officers from the Armed Forces,” the Military’s Media Affairs Wing said.
It further said the main focus of this course was to enable the course members to comprehend the interplay of all elements of national power in the construct of ‘Comprehensive National Security’.
President congratulated the graduating students and awarded the certificates, the statement concluded. –ISPR
