Derby: Fast bowler Mohammad Amir has joined the national squad in Derby after testing negative in both COVID-19 tests, reported.
Amir left Lahore for Derby on July 24. According to the guidelines of the British government, Amir was in isolation for a period of five days during which he was tested twice.
Remember, Amir, pulled out of England tour due to the birth of his second child. Later on, after Haris Rauf tested COVID-19 for five times, head coach-cum-chief selector Misbah-ul-Haq and team requested Amir’s inclusion in the squad for T20Is.
It must be noted that Pakistan will play three matches Test series against England from August 5. Green shirts will play three T20Is on August 28, 30, and September 1, respectively. – Agencies
