Hambantota: Mohammad Amir showed his class in Lanka Premier League (LPL) by bagging five wickets for Galle Gladiators against Colombo Kings on Monday.
Amir thrashed opponents’ batting line and helped his team restrict Kings to 171-10 in 20 overs on a fast track.
Later on, Ahsan Ali scored 56 runs to lay down a solid foundation for Gladiators to chase down 172. Azam Khan (35*) and Bhanuka Rajapaksa (37*) further helped the Gladiators win their first match in the tournament. – Agencies
