Lahore: Left-arm pacer Mohammad Amir has been tested negative for COVID-19 in the first test taken on Monday after team management requested his availability in England.
According to details, Amir will join national squad for T20Is against England in place of Haris Rauf who had tested COVID-19 positive five times. Now, with the first negative test, Amir will undergo second Test for the widely-spread virus on Wednesday.

On the other hand, PCB is planning travel of Amir and masseur Mohammad Imran, tested COVID-19 negative, to England. Both of them have been moved to bio-secure environment at a local hotel before undergoing second test tomorrow.
Wicket-keeper batsman Rohail Nazir will be released from the squad as soon as Amir joins.
It must be noted here that Pakistan will play three matches Test series against England from August 5. Green shirts will play three T20Is on August 28, 30 and September 1, respectively.
