ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Capital police is going to start 2nd phase of a specialized anti-riot training course of Frontier Constabulary and police personnel.
Following the orders of Minister of Interior Rana Sana Ullah Khan, 500 to 1000 FC and police personnel will participate in the course adding that DIG Law and order Syed Fareed Ali Shah will supervise the training course.
The main purpose of the specialized course is to maintain public order, to protect the important government and private installations, to deal with the miscreants, mass arrests of provocative groups, use of water cannons and other techniques.
A batch of FC and Police personnel have already passed out after completing this specialized anti-riot training course from police lines headquarters which was appreciated by the Federal Minister for Interior and he paid rich tribute to IGP Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan for his efforts for completion of this course.
