ISLAMABAD: Anti-Robbery and Dacoity Unit carried out an effective operation utilizing both technical and human resources and arrested three wanted members of an organized criminal gang involved in robbing citizens at gunpoint and injuring them during resistance.
Police team also recovered cash, gold jewelry worth over Rps 2.1 million and weapons along with ammunition used in the crimes from their possession. The arrested accused have been identified as Abdul Wahab, Kashif, and Majid. During the initial investigation the accused revealed their involvement in multiple robberies and injuring citizens during resistance in the jurisdiction of Humak, Nilore and Khanna police stations. While further investigation is underway.
