Ground and aerial operations are continuing under Operation Ghazab lil-Haq, targeting Afghan Taliban elements and Fitna al-Khawarij militants involved in the cross-border incursion.
In a swift counter-action, Pakistani forces reportedly seized control of an Afghan Taliban post in Afghanistan’s Paktika province and hoisted the national flag at the site.
The sources said several militants were killed in a robust and effective retaliatory action. Three additional Afghan Taliban posts were also destroyed during the operation, they added.
The sources maintained that Pakistani forces are delivering a strong and befitting response to unprovoked Afghan aggression. –Agencies
