Ashrafi rejects news on possible talks with Israel

ISLAMABAD: While refuting allegations of Opposition leadership, Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi, Special Aide to Prime Minister on Religious Harmony, Middle East and Muslim countries said any Government representative has neither visited Israel nor the Govt has any intention to recognise Israel.
Addressing Friday congregation here in Grand Jamia Masajid Baharia Town, Hafiz Tahir Ashrafi said opposition leadership instead of hurling baseless allegations on the issue of Palestine should play their respective role to unite the Muslim Ummah. He said PTI government wants to invite opposition leadership to come forward and make joint endeavours with the Government to eliminate the menace of extremism, terrorism, sectarian violence and corruption from the country to strengthen Pakistan.
Special Aide to Prime Minister on Religious Harmony Hafiz Tahir Ashrafi also stated that Prime Minister Imran khan has expressed desire to make familiar youths of the country with real spirits of Islam and teachings of Quran-o-Sunnah by learning the Arabic language. In this regard, the government has taken the initiative to promote Arabic language in the country with establishment Arabia Language Centers at universities and colleges.
By learning the Arabic language, youths will become familiar with real spirit and teachings of Quran-o-Sunnah, said Hafiz Tahir Ashrafi. He also added that endeavours are also being made at government level to promote Arabic language at private and government sector universities. Coordination is being made with all colleges and universities in the country to establish Arabic language Centers to promote learning of Arabic all over the country.
Hafiz Tahir Ashrafi also stated that PhD on Seerat-e-Mustafa Mohammed (S.A.W) is also being started at various universities in the country with publication of Seerat literature at respective universities all over the country. Following the Friday sermon, while taking with Media, Hafiz Tahir Ashrafi said that all the political leadership should not politicise joint issues of Muslim Ummah.
Kashmir and Palestine are joint issues of the Muslim world and Pakistan will keep supporting people of Kashmir and Palestine for their plebiscite rights. He said that it is result of the endeavours of Prime Minister Imran khan that some politicians who never voiced on the issue of Palestine are speaking on Palestine issue.–PR
