It added that at least 52 detainees belonged to the Gaza Strip.
A statement released on Sunday highlighted that deaths among prisoners are a result of systematic torture, starvation, medical neglect, sexual assaults, and a series of other abuses, including deprivation, confiscation, humiliation, and inhumane detention conditions that violated human dignity.
The number of deceased prisoners whose bodies are known has risen to 97, including 86 who died since the start of the Israeli genocidal war in October 2023. –Agencies
