Sydney: The Australia men’s and women’s T20 cricket team is all set to don kit during the 2021-22 season designed by cricket fan and graphic designer Kai Jaeger.
Cricket Australia (CA) announced the winner of the kit design competition and Jaeger’s ‘Vibrant Evolutions’ kit won the ‘It’s Your Design’ competition.
A few days back CA announced the competition in which 120 entrants were recieved. Than CA and its apparel manufacturer shortlisted five designs and after four days of voting, Jaeger was announced as the winner.
“I tried to make it interesting and different from every angle, but still recognizable for Australian cricket fans,” he told CA.
“The different shapes and colours help to keep the design fun and upbeat. The lines, with an upwards trajectory, create a sense of movement and represent the ever-changing nature of the game,” he added.
As price money, Jaeger will also receive a VIP experience at an international match during the 2021-22 season, one of his T20 shirts signed by the Australian men and women team, a day with the apparel manufacturer team plus a cash prize of $5,000.
