ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Model School for Boys and Girls (I-V), Sihali, Sector Bhara Kau, on Thursday hosted a vibrant award distribution ceremony marking the conclusion of its annual Sports Gala.
The event was graced by distinguished guests, including Area Education Officer Bhara Kahu Sector, Shafiq ur Rehman; noted political and social figure and Focal Person of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, Farzana Kausar Raja; Chairman of the School Management Committee, Raja Maqsood Ahmed; Director of Youth Career Institute, Pind Begowal, Faizan Akram Raja; Principal Samia Noor; Principal Muhammad Nawaz; and Education Coach Jamshed Ahmed.
A large number of parents and community members attended the ceremony and enthusiastically encouraged the participating students.
Speakers highlighted the importance of sports and emphasized that both curricular and co-curricular activities are essential for student’s development. The guests also appreciated the efforts of the Sihali School administration.
Principal Dr Javed Mahar congratulated the award-winning students and their parents, reflecting the school’s academic achievements, and thanked all the guests for their participation.
