ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Law and Jusice Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar has extended heartfelt greetings to the people of Pakistan and the Muslim Ummah across the world on the eve of Eid-ul-Azha.
In his message issued by the Ministry of Human Rights on Tuesday, the Minister also conveyed warm wishes to all pilgrims performing Hajj this year, saying, “Eid ul-Azha Mubarak to the people of Pakistan and the Muslim Ummah across the world. I also extend heartfelt Hajj Mubarak to all those blessed with the honour of performing the sacred pilgrimage this year.”
The Minister said Eid-ul-Azha serves as a profound reminder of the unparalleled sacrifice, unwavering faith and complete submission to the will of Allah Almighty demonstrated by Prophet Ibrahim (A.S.) and Prophet Ismail (A.S.). He added that their timeless example continues to inspire humanity with the values of obedience, patience, humility, compassion and selflessness.
Senator Tarar said the blessed occasion reminds people to care for those facing hardship and to strengthen the values of compassion, tolerance, unity and social responsibility within society.
He stressed that while celebrating Eid, people must reaffirm their commitment to supporting the vulnerable and promoting harmony, dignity and collective wellbeing.
He further stated that at a time when the world is confronting growing division and uncertainty, the message of Eid-ul-Azha calls upon humanity to strengthen unity, promote peace and uphold the principles of humanity and justice in every sphere of life.
The Minister prayed that Allah Almighty may accept the sacrifices of all Muslims, bless Pakistan with peace, stability, progress and prosperity, and guide everyone towards compassion, unity and righteousness.
