ISLAMABAD: Following the directives of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, special measures are being undertaken to curb criminal activities and ensure the safety and security of the federal capital. Islamabad Police have launched a large-scale crackdown to arrest individuals involved in motorcycle theft and to curb overall crime in the city.
In this regard, the Sumbal Police Station team used modern technical tools and human intelligence to arrest key members of an organized gang involved in multiple motorcycle thefts. Police teams also recovered five stolen motorcycles from their possession. The accused have been identified as *Mohsin* and *Ahad Sohail*. Cases have been registered against them. During the initial investigation, the accused confessed to committing several thefts in Sumbal and surrounding areas. Further investigation is underway.
