BEIJING: No new locally transmitted confirmed, asymptomatic, or suspected cases of COVID-19 were reported in Beijing on Wednesday, the municipal health commission said Thursday.
The capital also reported no new imported cases on Wednesday, according to the commission.
By Tuesday, Beijing had reported five close contacts linked to confirmed COVID-19 cases in the city of Qingdao, east China’s Shandong Province.
All five individuals and their own close contacts, a total of 15 people, have tested negative for the virus and are under medical observation.
