Blind murder of Bank Manager solved

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad police have traced the murder of bank manager who was assassinated in the area of Koral police station on September 17, 2020, a police spokesman said.
According to details, manager of a bank Syed Raza Hussain Naqvi was shot dead by two unidentified motorcyclists near his office in Koral area. Following this incident, IGP Islamabad Muhammad Aamir Zulfiqar directed DIG (Operations) Waqar Uddin Syed to ensure arrest of the killers. Following his directions, two separate teams were constituted under supervision of SP Rural and SP Investigation which included SDPO Koral DSP Qasim Niazi, SHO Koral Asjad Mahmood, Inspector Muneer from Homicide Unit and others. These teams investigated into case by using modern techniques and managed to arrest three persons including a woman.
The nabbed persons have been identified as Shoaib, Kamran Sajjad and Zaib un Nisa. During the preliminary investigation, the female confessed that the deceased was her former husband and divorced her recently. Along with her accomplices, she said that a plan was earlier made to kill him but he escaped. In second attempt on September 17, 2020, she said that her former husband was assassinated as she had grudge with him over divorce issue. Further investigation is underway into the matter.
IGP Islamabad and DIG (Operations) have appreciated this performance and announced cash prizes and commendation certificates for members of police team.
