Blind murder traced, murderer booked: SP Rural

ISLAMABAD: SP Rural Zone Kazim Naqvi held an important press conference at the Rescue 15 Field Office, where he provided significant updates regarding the investigation into a blind murder case in the jurisdiction of the Nilore police station.
A citizen named Muhammad Majeed, had reported to the police that his son, Faizur Majeed, had not returned home, and his phone was switched off. He suspected that his son had been abducted by unknown criminals and requested assistance in locating him.
Upon this, the Nilore police team immediately registered case no. 38 and began the investigation. On January 27, 2025, a mutilated body wrapped in a sack was found near the Simly dam road close to the tunnel in the jurisdiction of Nilore Police Station. The body was later sent to the hospital, where it was identified as Faizur Majeed. DIG Islamabad, Syed Ali Raza, took strict notice of the incident and issued orders for the arrest of the involved criminals.
Under the supervision of SP Rural Zone, the Nilore police and the Homicide Unit conducted a thorough investigation using modern technical and scientific methods and apprehended the main accused, Tanveer Hussain, while also recovering the motorcycle used in the crime. The search for his accomplices is ongoing.
During the press conference, SP Rural Kazim Naqvi emphasized that Islamabad Police is taking indiscriminate action against crime, violence, and murder cases.
He assured that strict legal action will be taken against those involved in such incidents, ensuring they face appropriate punishment and are brought to justice with solid evidence presented in court.
