FAISALABAD: British Council Area Director Michael Houlgate along with Head of Higher Education British Council Sarah Parvez visited the University of Agriculture Faisalabad and called on UAF Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan. They also met with awardees of Scotland Pakistan scholarship at New Senate Hall.
Director Financial Assistance Dr Muhammad Ahsan Khan, Assistant Director Waqar Akbar Khan and other notables attended the meeting. As many as 30 students are getting the education under Scotland Pakistan scholarship program.
The meeting also discussed that they were offering faculty development opportunity in which UAF is encouraged to apply to get benefit. It was also discussed that Scotland Pakistan scholarship awardees should get themselves registered with Pakistan Scotland Alumni Scheme to avail further opportunities.
Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan said that UAF always encourages its faculty for the capacity building that would bring tangible results. He said that the UAF being the mother of all agricultural educational institution, is playing a leading role in the uplift of the agricultural sector.
