ISLAMABAD: A delegation from the British High Commission Karachi, led by Deputy Head of Mission Tom Burge, paid a courtesy call on Director General Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) Air Vice Marshal Zeeshan Saeed at the PAA Headquarters, Jinnah International Airport.on Thursday.
The two sides held an in-depth and constructive discussion on expanding cooperation in aviation-sector development projects.
They explored opportunities for collaboration, particularly in infrastructure modernization, capacity enhancement, and other areas of mutual interest aimed at strengthening bilateral engagement.
PAA Deputy Director General (Works & Development) Mr. Sumair Saeed was also present during the meeting.
The DG PAA briefed the delegation on the Authority’s ongoing initiatives to upgrade airport facilities and improve operational efficiency nationwide. He emphasized PAA’s commitment to building international partnerships that support sustainable growth within Pakistan’s aviation industry.
The British delegation acknowledged the progress made by PAA and expressed keen interest in advancing cooperative ventures for mutual benefit.
The meeting concluded with both sides reaffirming their resolve to further deepen Pakistan–United Kingdom collaboration in the aviatio sector.
