BEIJING/ISLAMABAD: BBS and MYU join hands to build an ecosystem with trained human resources to boost China Pakistan’s business, trade, and e-commerce cooperation.
Beijing Business School, China, and Muslim Youth University signed an MoU in order to enhance a partnership to promote academic research exchanges, student exchange program, cultural exchange, teachers training and exchange, joint curriculum development to create an experiential teaching and research environment, a joint research program on new business majors and modern service industry like e-commerce, rail transport, logistics, accounting, and other related majors.
Muhammad Asif Noor, the CEO of Diplomatic Insight Group, moderated the session and welcomed the participants.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Hassan Waseem, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Muslim Youth University, said he feels immensely privileged to sign this MoU with Beijing Business School and MY University. While sharing insight about MY University and its academic program, by saying that this Islamabad-based University has programs that the intellectual faculties of students to solve real-world society-centric complex problems.
Dr. Waseem further added that MY University is committed to high-quality teaching with a thriving interactive culture. We are offering a variety of academic undergraduate, graduate, and Ph.D. programs under the faculties of Engineering and Technology, Basic and Applied Sciences, Management and Social Sciences, Natural Sciences. MY University collaborates with communities and industry to undertake meaningful education, research, and innovation for society-centric equitable social, economic and spiritual progress. MYU’s forte is fostering an ecosystem that germinates an entrepreneurial mindset for inventions. Speaking on the occasion, Xing Lianxin, Principal of Beijing Business School, said that he is proud to sign this grand MoU between the two institutions. Highlighting the background of Beijing Business School he said that the School was founded in 1964. This school belongs to Beijing Xianglong Asset Management Co, a large state-owned enterprise group. Being an outstanding secondary vocational school, Beijing Business School has achieved honorable titles and is regarded as a leading vocational school in China. The Principal of BBS said that the school has more than 20 majors including Accounting, E-business, Logistics Service & Management, Pre-school Education, and so on. BBS has developed several cooperation programs with overseas countries like Austria, Korea, and the UK.
She has further said that BBS actively participates in and promotes the “Belt and Road” education cooperation and exchange program, and looks forward to expanding cooperation with more overseas universities and colleges.
Wang Cai’e, Vice Principal of BBS, during the ceremony said that this MoU is the step forward towards broad range of cooperation in the Bussiness field.
Both heads highly appreciated the tireless efforts of Muhammad Asif Noor, CEO, of Diplomatic Insight Group, for his extensive contribution to this collaboration. They have also acknowledged the services of Muhammad Asif Noor in promoting Pakistan-China relations.
During the ceremony, Aneesa Rahat, Registrar, MY University, Dr. Waqas Ahmad, Head MY School of Business, Wang Jin, Head, International Cooperation Office BBS were also present on the occasion to witness this important MoU. –PR
