ISLAMABAD: Aftermath of a landmark effort as par directives of SSP Dr. Syed Mustafa Tanweer, the Islamabad police has arrested major culprits of house buglars gang and recovered cash, gold ornament, mobile phone, motorbike and other valuable items from their procession.
Tarnol’s police team arrested three members criminal gang involved in house burglaries. Action has been taken as par special directives of SSP Operations Dr. Syed Mustafa Tanveer as he directed all zonal officers to accelerate their efforts to curb the crime in the city.
Following these directions, SP Saddar Zone Farooq Amjad Butter constituted special team under the supervision of DSP Sajjad Bukhari including SHO Tarnol police station Inspector Asjad Mehmood along with others officials who successfully arrested 03 wanted members of house bugler gang identified as Aamir Basheer, Zulfiqar Ali and Muhammad Irfan and recovered stolen cash, gold ornaments, mobile phone, motorbikes, and other valuable items from their procession.
During the preliminary investigation, they confessed their involvement in several incidents of house burglaries in various areas of twin city. Cases have been registered against them and further investigation is underway from them.
DIG Operations Afzaal Ahmed Kausar and SSP Operations Dr. Syed Mustafa Tanweer has appreciated this overall performance and directed all police officials to ensure effective policing measures in their respective areas.
