FAISALABAD: The First Secretary Political Affairs of the High Commission of Canada James McNee visited Faisalabad and met with President Press Club Shahid Ali and other journalists at a local hotel. Pakistan Television Representative Hafiz Muhammad Ali Abid, Senior Foreign Policy and Diplomatic Services Officer Muhammad Zubair and Director Information Muhammad Awais Abid were also present. During the meeting, bilateral points for the promotion and development of journalism department were discussed on the occasion. President Faisalabad Press Club briefed him on the role of media,highlighting government policies and the steps being taken by the Press Club for journalists.
He said that the delegation of Canadian journalists should visit Faisalabad Press Club to get acquainted with the bilateral culture and journalistic codes. First Secretary Political Affairs welcomed the meeting and said that it’s look good to visit Pakistan and especially Faisalabad. It is good that the people here are hardworking and loving. He said that steps will be taken for the meetings of the journalists of both the countries. Director Information welcomed the First Secretary to visiting Faisalabad.
