ISLAMABAD: Capital Cops had a cricket match with Future Star Cricket Academy, Karachi, here the other day. Capital Cops won the toss and elected to field first. Later, Future Star Cricket Academy got 141 runs and all out in 20th over.
Nawaz Sharif made 25 runs, Muaz 34 runs and Atta 21 runs while Ayub Awan took 3 wickets, Nadeem & Aabid Ali took 2 wickets each, Gul Hameed & Asim took one wicket each. In reply, Capital Cops achieved the target of 147 runs in 19.2 overs. Abid Ali contributed 55 runs not out Muhammad Tahir scored 29 while Faisal scored 16 runs. Muaz took 5 wickets, Ibrahim 3 wickets, Abid Ali of Capital Cops was declared player of the match for his all round performance.
