Capital cops bust 10 outlaws from city

-Stolen bike, kites, arms, drugs recovered

ISLAMABAD: Capital Cops, in a bid to tighten noose around anti-social elements, arrested 10 from various parts of the city and recovered stolen motorbike, hashish, kites and weapons from their possession.
Following directions of IGP Islamabad Qazi Jamil-ur-Rehman, DIG Operations Afzaal Ahmed Kausar directed to ensure crackdown against kite flyers and sellers and criminals. Following these directions, PS Lohibher caught a drug peddler namely Mukhtar and recovered 1.320 kilogram hashish from him.
PS Noon, on the other hand, caught a notorious drug traffiker Tariq Khan and recovered 1640 grams Hashish from his possession. Case is registered against accused and further investigation is underway. SP I-Area zone have appreciated the good performance of SI Nawaz Thabal and team. PS Sabzi Mandi apprehended two drug pushers namely Ramzan and Zain and recovered 1.525 kilogram hashish from their possession. PS Sihala arrested two accused Anmol Riaz, Ali and recovered two 30 bore pistols along with ammunition from their possession.

PS Shahzad Town nabbed Tayyeb and recovered one 30-bore pistol from him. PS Khana team booked two kite sellers namely Kamran and Mustafa and recovered kites from their possession. PS Bara Kaho team busted a motorbike lifter namely Karim and recovered stolen motorbike from him. Cases have been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway from them.
SSP Operations Dr Syed Mustafa Tanveer has appreciated the performance of the police teams while directed all cops to remain vigilant in their areas as no laxity will be tolerated in that regard. He also appealed parents not to allow children to buy or fly kites because it is dangerous. He also sought cooperation of citizens to make lives of all secure and safe.
