Capital Police’s RDU arrests 2 drug peddlers

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Capital Police’s Robbery and Dacoity Unit (RDU) has arrested two drug paddlers and recovered 3470 gram hashish and 200 grams ice from their possession.

Following the special directions of Inspector General of Police Islamabad Dr Akbar Nasir Khan, Islamabad capital police had categorically started a crackdown against criminal elements in order to save the precious lives of the citizens.

Following the directions a Police team under the supervision of DSP property along with other officials apprehended two drug paddlers from jurisdiction of Shehzad Town and Koral police station and recovered 3470 gram hashish and 200 gram ice from their possession.

The accused were identified as Chaman Gul and Najeeb Ullah. Cases have been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway.

Senior police officers appreciated the performance of the police team and added that it is the prime responsibility of police to provide relief to the citizens and every possible effort would be made to ensure it.
