Cascade inaugurated for diplomats

ISLAMABAD: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi inaugurated the Cascade service center, which has been established for the convenience of diplomats in the diplomatic enclave.
On this occasion, foreign diplomats, foreign nationals, Secretary Interior Mohammad Khurram Agha, IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, and other senior police officers were present.
Following the instructions of Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, the establishment of the state of the art “Cascade” service center has been implemented in the diplomatic enclave for the first time in history. At this center, the diplomatic community and foreign citizens will be able to access more than 12 services simultaneously, including the issuance and renewal of driving licenses, character certificates, general police verifications, missing person reports, and tenant registration.
In addition, services such as the registration of foreigners, registration of domestic workers, registration of volunteers, vehicle verification, and obtaining copies of FIRs will also be available at the service center.
On this occasion, the Federal Interior Minister said that the Islamabad Police is taking all possible measures to ensure the convenience and safety of ambassadors and foreign nationals, in line with the vision of the Prime Minister of Pakistan. The center reflects our commitment to providing security and services to the diplomatic community and all visitors.
He further emphasized that the establishment of the service center will strengthen the cooperation between law enforcement agencies and diplomats. Currently, more than 1,500 police and FC personnel, along with 20 police vehicles, are deployed for the security of the diplomatic enclave.
Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, along with the diplomats, also visited the Cascade Service Center. He inspected various counters and reviewed the available facilities. IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Raza provided a briefing on the services offered to foreign nationals.
On this occasion, diplomats and foreign nationals expressed their gratitude to Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi for establishing the Cascade service center in the diplomatic enclave.
