Ceremony held at Lines HQs to mark Youm-e-Takbeer

ISLAMABAD: Following the special directives of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, a ceremony was organized at Police Lines Headquarters to commemorate Youm-e-Takbeer.

The event was attended by a large number of police officers and personnel. The ceremony included speeches and national songs that stirred the emotions of the attendees and reignited the spirit of patriotism.
On the occasion, SP Capital Police College Najeeb Shah highlighted the importance of Youm-e-Takbeer, stating that the day symbolizes national sovereignty, unity and military strength. The ceremony concluded with prayers for the elevation of the ranks of national martyrs and for the peace, security and prosperity of the country followed by the cake-cutting.
IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi stated that the purpose of the ceremony is to remember May 28, 1998 and to renew the pledge to defend the homeland.
He added that on this day, Pakistan conducted nuclear tests, making its defense invincible and filling the nation with pride.
Youm-e-Takbeer reminds us of the historic moment when Pakistan demonstrated its defensive autonomy.
He further stated that such ceremonies will continue to inspire the younger generation to remain committed to the defense of the nation and to honor the sacrifices made in achieving nuclear capability.
