Ceremony held for passed-out cops

ISLAMABAD: A ceremony was held in honor of the first Upper Course, 11th Intermediate Course, and 20th Lower Course passed out by officials at Police Lines Headquarters Islamabad.
The ceremony was attended by Islamabad Capital City Police Officer (ICCPO) Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, while high-ranking officials, including the SSP/Dy. Commandant Capital Police College, AIG Operations, SP Headquarters, DSP Capital Police College, and other staff members.
During the ceremony, the ICCPO Dr Akbar Nasir Khan distributed awards and certificates to the deserving officers and cadets who demonstrated exceptional performance during the training courses.
Addressing the ceremony, ICCPO Dr Akbar Nasir Khan praised the dedication and hard work of the officers and cadets who had completed the training courses successfully.
He urged them to perform their duties with diligence, dedication, and a commitment to serving the community.
ICCPO expressed his delight at being part of the Islamabad Capital Police passing out ceremony and congratulated Capital Police College for providing top-notch training to officers and cadets in record time. He emphasized the significance of public service and encouraged the attendees to uphold the high values of law enforcement.
He said, “You are fortunate to have been given the opportunity by Allah to serve the community. Remember that the true honor comes from serving the people. Upholding the law, ensuring justice, and safeguarding the lives and properties of citizens are our primary responsibilities.
Show respect to the public, and there will be no reason left why you should not receive respect in return.” he added.
ICCPO Dr Akbar Nasir Khan also expressed that the skills learned during the training would be put into practice, making officers and cadets valuable assets to the police force and the community. He also emphasized the need to modernize and strengthen the training programs at Capital Police College.
