ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Central Secretary of Information Nadeem Afzal Chan hosted an Iftar dinner in honor of the children of Pakistan Sweet Home, bringing together prominent political, social, and business figures.
The gathering highlighted the institution’s role as a beacon of hope for orphaned children, with leaders including former Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf lauding Sweet Home as a “miracle” and a model of compassion and service to humanity.
He expressed that it is a privilege to be connected through this bond with humanity and it’s indeed a great honour to work for deprived segments of the society. “I wish for many more Zamurrad Khans to emerge in this country to hold the hands of orphaned children and lead them toward a bright future.” he added.
Nadeem Afzal Chan said that to be among these children of Sweet Home is an immense joy who are making their mark in every discipline of education at this stage.
He attributed the institution’s success to divine grace and said that the model of education, healthcare and other facilities for these children is exemplary and others need to follow it. He made a heartfelt appeal to philanthropists and well-off segments of the society to step forward and contribute generously for the good of underprivileged people.
While addressing the children and audience at this occasion Zamurrad Khan, Head of Pakistan Sweet Home, stated that the existence of Sweet Home and the responsibility of caring for these children is a great blessing from Allah. –Agencies
