BEIJING: Wang Chen, a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and vice chairperson of the National People’s Congress (NPC) Standing Committee, met with the First Deputy Speaker of Angola’s National Assembly Emilia Carlota Dias on Friday via video link.
China’s NPC is willing to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with Angola’s National Assembly, Wang said, calling for deepening mutual political trust, enhancing mutual legislative learning, stepping up pragmatic cooperation and boosting people-to-people exchanges.
He also pledged to enhance coordination with the Angolan side in international organizations and jointly safeguard multilateralism.
The Angolan national assembly is willing to make positive contributions to deepening the Angola-China strategic partnership, Emilia Carlota Dias said. –PNP
