Beijing: “First of all, Taiwan is a part of China, and there is no ‘vice president’,” Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning said on Monday in responses to a media inquiry that Taiwan region’s Hsiao Bi-khim claimed that she will not be intimidated by Beijing while alleging that she was followed and there was attempt to intimidate her physically when she was in Prague earlier last year.
The spokesperson said Chinese diplomats have always abided by the laws and regulations of the countries in which they are stationed, and no matter how the DPP authorities change their tactics and pursue “independence” by relying on external forces, attempt to sow discord between China and the countries in which it has established diplomatic relations, they will not be able to cover up their vile scheme, which will also never succeed.
