ISLAMABAD: The Chinese education technology company, Tang, has signed a landmark MoU with the All Pakistan Private Schools Federation (APPSF), Eng. Mansoor ul Hassan Siddiqui, Country Director Tang Pakistan, told media on Wednesday.
The MoU aims at joint education, training, skill development and Chinese language programs, as well as establishment of international education board for assessment and certification; skill development centres; centres for teachers management and excellence, professional development, technical and vocational education and training, and students and teachers exchange programs.
APPSF is the largest registered federation in Pakistan, which represents over 300 registered associations of private schools; 207,000 private schools and 1.5 million teachers with 27 million students across the country.
The objective of the MoU is to establish a strategic framework for collaboration between the two parties in the mentioned fields.
Tang will facilitate APPSF in promulgation of Chinese language classes in all schools under the APPSF, development of Chinese language centres, Chinese language and calligraphy competitions, equip the students with linguistic and cultural competencies essential for academic advancement, professional opportunities, and engagement with Sino-Pak initiatives.
Tang will help the APPSF schools lay the foundation that develops a skilled workforce aligned with needs of local economic zones and CPEC-related industries.
It will help in bridging the gap between education and employability through industry-oriented programs.
Tang will operationalize CCTE Model Sino-Pak Dual Diploma Program, offering internationally recognized technical and vocational qualifications. The company will facilitate Faculty and Student Exchange Programs, fostering cross-cultural learning, knowledge transfer, and international exposure.
Tang will introduce centralized Sino-Pak teachers and students joint training and education programs, designed in collaboration with Chinese institutions to enhance faculty expertise, teaching capacity, and professional growth. It will also introduce Sino-Pak Teacher’s Licensing Program that provide a holistic and modernized system. –Agencies
