-Recovers snatched cash, arams

ISLAMABAD: Criminal Investigation Agency (CIA) of Capital Cops arrested six members of a dacoit’s gang and recovered snatched cash, motorbike as well as weapons from their possession, a police spokesman said. According to details, following the directions of IGP Islamabad Muhammad Amir Zulfqar Khan, DIG Operations Waqar-ud-Din Syed assigned special task to SP Investigation to ensure arrest of those involved in dacoities. SP Investigation Malik Naeem Iqbal constituted special teams under supervision of DSP CIA Hakim Khan including ASI Sadeer Ahmed along with others to ensure the arrest of criminals. Police team arrested six members of dacoit gang Identified Irfa , Qadeem Shah, Anar Gul, Zahid Khan, Hameed and Muhammad Khan. Police team recovered snatched cash, motorbike and weapons from their possession. Cases have been registered against them and further investigation is underway. IGP Islamabad Muhammad Aamir Zulfiqar Khan and DIG Operations Waqar Ud Din Syed have appreciated performance of CIA Police teams and announced commendation certificates along with cash rewards for policemen who arrested these gangsters.
