ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Crime investigation Agency (CIA) of Capital Cops busted two street criminals and recovered snatched cash, six motorbikes and weapons from their possession.
According to details, IGP Islamabad Muhammad Aamir Zulfiqar Khan ordered crackdown against criminal elements. Following these directives, DIG Operations Waqar-ud-Din Syed directed all zonal officers to accelerate their efforts to curb crime in the city.
Following these directions, SP Investigation Malik Naeem Iqbal constituted a special team under the supervision of DSP CIA Hakim Khan including SI Zafar Iabal, ASIs Safdar Hussain, Fayyaz Hussain and others. The said team arrested two gangsters identified as
Ghulam Abbas s/o Muhammad Aslam, resident of Madina Colony district Sargodha and Imran s/o Muhammad Nawaz, resident of Chack 66 District Sargodha.
Cops have also recovered snatched cash, mobile phones, six stolen motorbikes and weapons from their possession. Moreover, during preliminary investigation, the accused have confessed of their involvement in several incidents of crime in various parts of Ramana, Karachi Company and Golra police stations. Separate cases have been registered against the accused while further investigation is underway.
DIG Operations Waqar-ud-Din Syed has appreciated the overall performance of the cops while directing all police officials to ensure effective policing measures in their respective areas.

ISLAMABAD: Capital Cops caught 12 outlaws including 7 drug pushers and recovered huge cache of hashish, wine, stolen motorbike and weapons from the accused.
According to details, following the orders of IGP Islamabad Muhammad Aamir Zulfiqar Khan, he said DIG Operations Waqar-ud-Din Syed had categorically directed all police officers to accelerate their efforts against criminals and drug dealers and smugglers. Following these directions, PS Kohsar busted two drug pushers namely Shahzad Anyat and Bilal Sadiq and recovered 2.260 kilogram hashish from their possession. PS Bani Gala police booked accused Mohsin and recovered 220 grams hashish from him. PS Sabzi Mandi nabbed three drug pushers namely Muhammad Ikram, Sher Khan and Noor Zaman and recovered 1.085 kilogram hashish from their possession. PS Khanna apprehended a drug pusher namely Khalil Ahmed and recovered 1.090 kilogram hashish from him, while the given police team also arrested accused Shahzad Massih and recovered one 30 bore pistol from him. PS Ramana caught a bootlegger namely shahbaz and recovered 20 wine bottles and 80 cans of beer from him, while the police team also arrested a bike lifter namely Bashrat Manzoor and recovered stolen motorbike from him. PS Golra, on the other hand, arrested accused Abid Mehmood and recovered one 30 bore pistol from him. Separate cases have been registered against the crooks while further investigation is underway from the accused.
DIG Operations Waqar-ud-Din Syed appreciated the police performance while saying that Capital Cops were accelerating all out efforts for safety and security of citizens. He also requested the citizens to inform the police in case of any suspicious activity in their respective jurisdiction areas.
