-Recovers stolen bike, hefty valuables

ISLAMABAD: CIA of Capital Cops nabbed a wanted member of thief gang and recovered four stolen bikes, 11 mobile phones, LCDs, stolen valuables and weapon from him.
According to details, IGP Islamabad Muhammad Aamir Zulfiqar Khan ordered crackdown against criminals including those involved in house burglaries. Following these orders, DIG Operations Waqar-Ud-Din Syed directed all zonal officers to accelerate their efforts in curbing crime in the city. Thus SP Investigation Dr. Syed Mustafa Tanveer constituted a special team under the supervision of DSP CIA Hakim Khan including ASIs Safder Hussain Gondal, Fayyaz Ahmed and others.
The given team caught wanted member of theives’ gang, involved in house burglaries and bike lifting instances. The arrested accused was later identified as Zeshan alias Shani R/O Mara Akoo, Golra Sharif. Four stolen bikes, 11 mobile phones, 7 LCDs, valuables and weapons were also recovered afrom him.
Moreover, during preliminary investigation, he has confessed of his involvement in incidents of houses burglaries, bike lifting in areas of Golra and Ramna and it’s surrounding areas along with his other accomplices. Further probe is underway from the accused. DIG Operations Waqar-ud-din Syed has appreciated the overall performance of the cops while directing them to ensure effective policing measures in their respective areas.
Cops catch 3 dacoits with arms, looted cash
ISLAMABAD: In line with the instructions of SP Industrial Zubair Ahmed Sheikh, PS Sabzimandi apprehended a group of three dacoits namely Ali Bilal, Perwaiz khan and Taha, residents of Rawalpindi; New Katarian, while recovering two 30-bore and one 22-bore pistol from the accused along with other ammunition. Cops also recovered looted cash worth 145000 and a motorcycle. FIR has been registered against the said accused and investigation is underway.
Moreover, the said accused have previous criminal record and have been involved in motorbike thefts in the area of PS Peerwadhai and PS New Town, Rawalpindi. Many spare parts of stolen motorcycles are also recovered from the said accused.
IGP and DIG oprations have appreciated the cops performance in this regard.
