Karachi: Physio Cliffe Deacon and left-arm spinner Zafar Gohar have joined the national squad in Worcester on Monday, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) confirmed via press release.
Deacon and Gohar have been tested for widely-spread COVID-19 upon their arrival. The test is expected on Tuesday.
It must be noted here that a 20-member squad alongside 11-member team management had already reached Worcester. The whole contingent had tested for the widely-spread virus and will remain in quarantine for 14 days.
Pakistan is scheduled to play three Tests and as many T20Is from August to September against England. The complete schedule of the tour will be released soon. The whole tour will take place under the ‘bio-secure’ environment provided by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB). – Agencies
