ISLAMABAD: Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif has congratulated Federal Minister for Law and Justice Azam Nazir Tarar and the Independent Group on their success in the Pakistan Bar Council elections,said in a Press Release issued here on Sunday.
In her congratulatory message, the Chief Minister extended her best wishes to the newly elected office-bearers of the Pakistan Bar Council, expressing hope that they would work for the strengthening of the rule of law, supremacy of the Constitution, and welfare of the legal fraternity.
Maryam Nawaz Sharif said that the legal community plays a vital role in upholding democratic values and justice in the country, and expressed confidence that the new leadership would fulfill its responsibilities with dedication and integrity.
