ISLAMABAD: Commonwealth observation team for Election 2024 were briefed about security arrangements.
According to the details, the Commonwealth observation team for election 2024 visited Safe City Islamabad and met with Islamabad Capital City Police Officer (ICCPO) Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan.
A meeting was organized at Command and Center for Election 2024, which was attended by the Commonwealth observation team and senior officers of Islamabad Capital Police.
During the meeting, the Commonwealth observation team was given a detailed briefing on the measures regarding election security in the federal capital, Islamabad. Chairperson Commonwealth observation team appreciated the efforts of ICCPO and praised the Islamabad Capital Police.
Meanwhile, Islamabad Capital Police Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) conducted a search and combing operation at Koral police station jurisdiction.
