ISLAMABAD: The Academic Staff Association (ASA), Islamabad Campus, of COMSATS University Islamabad held a simple yet dignified oath-taking ceremony for its newly elected cabinet. The ceremony was attended by faculty members and senior academics of the university.
The newly elected cabinet expressed its commitment to upholding merit, transparency, academic excellence, and the rule of law within the university. The leadership reiterated its resolve to work collectively for the welfare of faculty members and the strengthening of institutional values at COMSATS University Islamabad. Prof. Muhammad Muddassar took oath as President of the Association, while Dr. Farooq Iqbal Buzdar assumed the responsibilities of General Secretary. The oath was administered by Prof. Syed Tahir Abbas Shah, who congratulated the newly elected representatives and expressed hope that the association would continue to play a constructive role in promoting academic integrity, institutional harmony, and faculty rights.
Speaking on the occasion, the newly elected cabinet thanked the faculty members for their trust and confidence and pledged to work with dedication, unity, and professionalism for the betterment of the academic community. –PR
