ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police Assistant Shahid Shabbir has been promoted to the position of Office Superintendent (Grade-17) rank.
The Departmental Promotion Committee recommended his promotion, which was approved by Inspector General of Police Islamabad Syed Ali Naseer Rizvi, who issued the formal notification.
AIG Establishment/Operations Abdul Haque Umrani handed over the promotion notification to him. Shahid Shabbir joined Islamabad Police as an Assistant in December 2009 and served in various capacities at the Central Police Office.
During his service, he was awarded the “Cop of the Month” title three times for his outstanding performance.
He has also been recognized with multiple commendatory certificates from the Minister of Interior and IGP Islamabad for his exemplary work.
IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi congratulated Assistant Superintendent Shahid Shabir and directed him to continue performing his duties diligently in his new role.
