RAWALPINDI: Rawalpindi district police on the directives of Senior Superintendent of Police, Operations Rawalpindi conducted raids in different areas and netted 14 accused for possessing illegal weapons.
PS Rattaamral, PS Pirwadhai, PS Rwp Cantt, PS R.A.Bazar, PS Race Course, PS Civil Lines, PS Taxila, PS Saddar Wah, PS Jatli, PS Dhamial, PS Rawat, and PS Kalar Syedan rounded up 14 accused namely Muhammad Umar, Asmatullah, Shakeel, Saqib, Fawad, Arslan, Babar Nawaz, Nasrullah, Faisal ur Rehman, Numan, Rizwan, Ibrahim, Ghulam Sarwar and Safeer Ali and recovered two 9mm pistols, nine 30 bore pistols and ammunition from their possession. The SSP said that strict action in accordance with the law was being taken against the lawbreakers and operations against aerial firing and illegal weapon holders would continue.
Wanted member of thieves’ gang held, stolen valuables recovered
ISLAMABAD: PS Aabpara police team arrested an accused involved in theft activities and recovered stolen valuables from his possession.
Following the special directions of IGP Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad capital police has intensified crackdown against the criminal elements involved in theft activities in order to eliminate the crime from the city.
Following these directions, the Aabpara police station team used technical and human resources and succeeded in apprehending an accused involved in theft activities. The accused was identified as Waseem. Police team also recovered stolen valuables from his possession. Case has been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway.
Six arrested, drugs
& arms recovered
ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Capital Police apprehended six outlaws from different areas of the city and recovered drugs and weapons with ammunition from their possession.
Following the special directions of IGP Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad capital police has intensified crackdown against the criminal elements in order to eliminate the crime from the city.
Following these directives, the Kohsar police team arrested an accused namely Fazal Kareem and recovered 120 gram heroin from his possession. Likewise, the Ramna police team arrested an accused namely Zohaib and recovered one 30 bore pistol from his possession.
Similarly, the Nilore police team arrested an accused namely Khawar khan and recovered one 30 bore pistol with ammunition from his possession. During the crackdown against proclaimed offenders and court absconders, the Islamabad police teams arrested 03 absconders from various areas of the city.
Cases have been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway.
